Hadrian

Next in line on people I don't know anything about is Hadrian (76 - 138). Hadrian made Hadrians Wall. That's about all I know about the fella. Not surprisingly, Hadrian was a roman emperor. He was the successor of Trajan, under whom the Roman Empire reached its peak when it comes to territorial claim. Hadrian however, didn't lead the Empire in any wars. He didn't spend all his time on planting roses, though. He built Hadrian's Wall (...) and other military installation in Europe to secure the Roman Empire, and he also gave up some land, that he just didn't want to be bothered with. The Pantheon in Rome was put into its present form by Hadrian, and you can see a picture that I have taken of it here! And that's about all we need to know about him now.
