OK, time to learn. Today's featured person is King Camp Gillette (1855 - 1932).
Gillette probably had to shave once in a while, like we all do, some more often than I have to, but still. Gillette came across the idea of improving the "Safety Razor", because it got dull and was expencive. So he started making disposable safety razors, where you keep the handle and throw away the blade. He started American Safety Razor Company in 1901, but changed the name to Gillette Safety Razor Company in 1902. In 1903 he actually started producing it: he sold 51 razors and 168 blades but by 1915 they sold over 70 million blades! Wohooo! That's all. Now go play.
