Firefox and Opera
I've used Opera for a while, on and off for about 3 years, and I like it. I've changed back and forth between using Firefox and Opera though, because I've changed computers, reinstalled, tried and tested and so on. For a while I used Opera because I don't like Thunderbird that much, but lately I've only been using web-mail anyways, because I haven't had an internet connection at home.
But the other day, a new version of Firefox was released, and I had grown tired of Opera, not quite the fastest browser in the world, perhaps, and I started to miss some features I used to have in Firefox. I really like the mouse gestures in Opera, but that can be done in FF too with extensions.
So I decided to change, and I've downloaded some extensions that are awesome. In addition to the ones I have tried before, and that are smart and necessary, I've found some new ones.
Old:
Mouse Gestures 1.5: Makes the browser go back and forward and close and reload and stuff by the use of sign language with the mouse. Like in Opera.
Add Bookmark here: 0.5.5: Let's you add a bookmark in a folder by clicking "Add bookmark here" instead of clicking Add Bookmark, and then choosing the folder.
New ones I've found that I like:
Answers 1.24: Let's you Alt+Click at a word, and it looks it up at Answers.com for a definition. It's nice, but I haven't used it as much as I thought, even though I look up words a lot, but very often I look up words I want to write for meaning or spelling, not only words I read.
AdBlock v5: This is really wonderful. When you see a commercial in a page, right click it, and select block this image. Not only does it clear the view, but also prevents the browser from loading all kinds of crap. You can also add wildcards. So if for instance you go to the page www.dagbladet.no which basically is full of ads, you can right click an image, but then, instead of blocking www.dagbladet.no/ad2004943.gif you can add www.dagbladet.no/ad* or, more commonly, sites have their ads on separate addresses, like annonser.dagbladet.no or get ads externally like adform.net. After I've added a few servers like that adform, adtoma and stuff, I can go to entirely new sites, and the ads are already blocked. It's quite nice.
When it comes to flash, it's a bit more troublesome, because you can't right click, but the browser says "Adblock" in the lower right corner, and it will show you a list of blockable stuff. You can just choose whatever seems to be bothering you with flash crap. Flash is out of hand! Urgh.
I'm very happy with Firefox now though. I still like Opera a lot, and maybe I'll go back to it again: we'll see. If you have a cell phone that can handle it, you should try Opera Mini. It's free too, and let's you surf the web on your phone with better image handling and stuff. Don't know too much about it, since I'm still using my Siemens A50
It's starting to fall apart though...

Just found out, AdBlock blocks flash too, if you ask it.
