Progress
We're all working with our theses. Except Hanneke at the moment. She has visitors. Judit(h).
But John and I have had a pretty productive week. And John has progress bar, to help his arduous struggle to write a thesis:

So I figured I'd make one too. I don't have the software skills John has though. And since I'd have to manually update it anyways, or really integrate it with OpenOffice, I figured an ASCII version will have to do.
15k words is the minimum requirement for our theses. 20 000 is the max. Instead of John's weird 18750 target, I'll choose a slightly more logical approach, and set the target at 17500 words.

I chose 18750 because that makes 15000 the 80% mark, and I like 80% as a milestone.
But, you're right, 18750 is a weird target, since I'll never bother writing that much. So I changed it to 17500. Just like yours.
It kicked me up 2% for free. :)
Is it allowed to write 20 000 words, even if you use really really long words?
