Shrooms as big as your head

Today John made Portobello mushroom burgers. This is something Kai would not appreciate, as meat is the only thing that will do.

We've been using the grill for several days, yesterday with eggplant and pasta salad. I tried eggplants for the first time, one late evening in Bamako, in 1991, and didn't much care for it then, but I've grown into liking it.

We're so healthy, you see, the mushroom burgers were no single case. We're practically vegetarian. But tomorrow John's going to cash in on a free chicken, that ICA has promised him.



As you can see, John is wearing an orange t-shirt. He bought me one too - now we'll all be orange! I still don't know... what that means.
