A Contemplation on Architecture in Vesterhamn
I don't know much about architecture. I once saw a program on BBC though about this dude (David Adjaye, who btw designed the... for lack of a better word: the thingy (or a Spatal Manipulation, as Adjaye would call it himself) outside the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo) who traveled through Africa having a look at different architectures, from vernacular clay mosques in Mali to neo-imperial styles the Italians and English dudes made in the Eritrea. And I thought, it would have been cool to travel with someone who had a clue. A clue when I went to Quito, Rome (Pantheon), Paris etc. Just to get a clue.
The same is actually true for Malmö and Vesterhamn. It is a little adventure in architecture, where phallic Turning Torso stands out in the crowd of lower, but weird little houses.
Maybe I should've had a guide. See the pics.
