Precipitation, anticipation, and hibernation

Preparing for off shore duties in the quest of adding CO2 into the atmosphere, I attended a safety training course to make scenarios where I might end up in the North Sea more bearable. Evacuating sinking helicopters and flipping inflatable rafts in the sea was fun, but all in all they made it perfectly clear that what we want to do is to avoid getting into the water.

But I'm getting wet anyways. Even though the rain stopped for long enough to break the line of consecutive days with precipitation at 84 — and at the moment we're enjoying the variation of snow instead of rain, there's no reason to believe that it will last.

That's one of the reasons it's nice that I'm leaving. In a week I leave for a training course in Prague, after which I'll start working on a project in Oslo for a while, traveling back and forth between Bergen and Oslo, and perhaps other places. Catch me if you can.
